China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, controlling shareholder of the Co***ny, was founded in 1957 and is the largest professional research institution of telecommunications technology with the strongest R&D capability and widest R&D fields. It has been shouldering the task of innovations and developments in the field of information and communications technology.

Major Product Lines
Datang Telecom has presented a series of state- and world-level products in such fields as Large-capacity SPC switches, Optical communication solutions, Wireless communication solutions, Full-service access network equipment, Telecommunication software, Full-series communication cables(including Optical Fiber Cable, Communication Copper Cable, Radio Frequency Cable) and Microelectronic product.
During the two years since the Co***ny was listed on the Stock Exchange, the Co***ny had obtained 41 network entry certificates from the Ministry of Information Industry, 9 from the Broadcasting & Television Ministry, and 13 from the military. The Co***ny has engaged itself in all the major communications products at present. The Co***ny has made great efforts to explore overseas as well as domestic market, and has exported its products to Europe, Southeast Asia and North America.
